For 2019 you have a choice of three models, the Explorer, Explorer XLT and the Explorer Limited.

For the power you need on the open road, both the Explorer and Explorer XLT come with a 3.5L Ti VCT V6 engine with an EPA estimated MPG of 17 city/23 highway.

Standard on the Explorer Limited is a 2.3L EcoBoost® I-4 engine that gives you an EPA estimated MPG of 19 city/27 highway. And if that’s not enough kick for you, there’s also an optional 3.5L Ti-VCT V6.

Whatever your choice of models and engines, the 2019 Explorer will give you plenty of zip to explore the roads less traveled.

Intelligent 4W Drive

For those off-road treks, the Terrain Management System™ is included with an available Intelligent 4W Drive that lets you shift on the fly to one of four settings to match the terrain.
