The Ford Taurus

Power and Economy

The front-wheel drive Taurus is equipped with a 3.5L V6, a solid engine that cranks out 288 horsepower for you. Along with that power comes economy. Estimated EPA mileage is 19 city/ 29 highway. If you don’t need quite that many horses under the hood, the Taurus offers you the option of a 2.0L, four-cylinder engine that generates 240 horsepower. 

Standard Equipment

The Ford Taurus comes with loads of standard equipment, including alloy wheels, a power driver’s seat, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, and a six-speaker sound system.

Available features include bigger wheels, a rearview camera, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear parking sensors, a power passenger seat, and leather upholstery.

Safety Features

No matter your destination, the Ford Taurus comes equipped with many standard safety features designed to protect everyone on board. These include, to mention just a few, front seat-mounted torso airbags, front and rear head-curtain airbags, a rollover sensor designed to deploy the head-curtain airbags in case of an impending rollover, electronic stability control, anti-lock brakes, and daytime running lights.

In addition, to protect your children, the Ford Taurus has two rear-seating positions with complete child seat attachment (LATCH) hardware.
